Receiving Party Pays
(RPP)

Receiving Party Pays (RPP) is a billing option whereby the person receiving the call is charged for the call. This charge may be additional to a charge for the initiating caller. This model is for instance used in the mobile network in cases the receiving mobile person is abroad. In that case the initiating caller is charged for the costs within the country of origin and the receiving mobile person is charged for the additional roaming costs.

In a collect call the receiving party is charged with the full costs. In that case, the receiving party has to accept the call first.
