Portable Content Format

The Portable Content Format (PCF) is a data format used in DVB for the description of interactive digital television services. PCF is used both for the description of the interactive service as well as the automatic translation to a platform specific version.

The Portable Content Format is used by the content provider to simplify the interchange of interactive content between content providers and platform operators. PCF is not intended to be used in the receiver.
