Intersystem control

Intersystem control is the coordination needed to let multiple radio systems make use of the same frequency band.

Intersystem control makes it possible to fill holes (white spaces) in a frequency band that is used by a certain system, through spectrum sharing with another system. The coordination process may involve the negotiation of many parameters:

Coordination can be provided by some central controller (e.g. a database) or in direct negotiation by the radio systems themselves.
