CMX - Compact Media Extension

Compact Media Extension (CMX) is a software based solution from Qualcomm for service providers to send multimedia to handsets. CMX is able to combine text, animation, voice and music (in MIDI format), in a time synchronized manner, and transmit them in a small file to a wireless handset.

CMX is developed by Qualcomm for cdmaOne and CDMA2000.
