Banner

A banner is an advertisement used on Internet sites. The banner includes a link to the advertisers site. In the begining all banners had a rectangular shpe and were put on the upper part of the web page. Nowadays, banners can also have other shapes. Vertical banners are called “skycrapers”.

Banners can have text, images and they can be animated.
