Adjacent channel interference

Adjacent channel interference is the amount of power that is transmitted in adjacent channels by transmitters operating in their assigned channel. The amount of adjacent channel interference a receiver sees is a function of transmitter and receiver filter characteristics and the number of transmitters operating in the area.
